Signed under the auspices of U.S. Representatives Joseph Pitts and Robert Wexler, and Deputy Mukhambet Kopei of Kazakhstan’s Majilis,  the Friendship Group represents a political milestone that strengthens legislative ties and draws two distinctive political traditions closer together.
