No. In summer 2014, Kazakhstan enacted a visa-free regime for 10 countries, including the U.S., which allows 15 day stays in Kazakhstan visa-free. The regime was so successful that it has been extended until December 31, 2017. There are 5-year business visas available for stays necessitating a longer stay than 15 days. Yes, individuals may join the USKZBA, but not as a substitute for corporate membership. Usually, academics and retired professionals are considered for membership in this category.
Yes! Internships with the USKZBA offer a unique opportunity to gain experience in a fast-paced, interesting environment. USKZBA interns have the opportunity to interact directly with members of the U.S. business community, learn about their goals and operations in Kazakhstan, and will gain in-depth knowledge of how business associations support their members.
