HOW TO JOIN
1. Review the Membership Classes below:
Benefactor: The highest level of membership, this class provides a seat on the Board of Directors and greater involvement.
Sustaining: An intermediate class of membership that offers an opportunity to be elected to a rotating seat on the Board for an annual term (one such seat will be available for every three sustaining members).
Regular: The standard class of membership available to for-profit companies.
Associate: A class available to non-profits, think tanks, and academics. Does not include Members-Only web access.
2. Decide the level of benefits desired from membership and choose the appropriate membership category. If questions arise, please call the Executive Director at 202-434-8748, or email at ExDir@USKBA.net.
3. Complete the “Membership Application Questionnaire” form available on this Website and either e-mail, fax, or mail it to the Association at the appropriate address indicated.
4. Upon review and approval of the application, the Association will send you an invoice for membership at the level you indicate on the questionnaire.
5. Upon receipt of payment for dues, you, your company or organization are members for the balance of the calendar year in which the dues are paid. *
NOTE:
Dues are payable at the beginning of each calendar year in subsequent years.
Dues cover basic infrastructure costs of the Association; sponsorships of major events and activities are handled separately.
We encourage you to approach existing members regarding the Association and membership benefits, which may be supplied upon request.
* Dues of new members paid in the fourth quarter of a calendar year also cover all of the next year.
